We are seeking a proactive and experienced Manager on Duty (MOD) with strong expertise in financial counselling to join our team at a reputed hospital in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing hospital operations during assigned shifts while guiding patients and their families on treatment plans, billing, and medical packages.

• Oversee daily hospital operations during designated shifts, ensuring smooth functioning across departments. Provide financial counselling to patients and attendants — explaining treatment costs, medical packages, insurance coverage, room tariffs, and pharmacy-related expenses.
• Serve as the key escalation point for operational, financial, and service-related concerns.
• Coordinate with departments including billing, admissions, pharmacy, nursing, and TPA/insurance for seamless patient flow.
• Address patient grievances promptly and ensure excellent patient experience.
• Maintain proper documentation and shift handover reports.
• Supervise front-office, billing, and support staff during the shift.

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in hospital operations and patient financial counselling.
• Strong understanding of hospital workflows, insurance/TPA processing, and billing systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Leadership ability to manage staff and resolve on-ground issues effectively.
