Meera Consulting follows a strict, transparent recruitment process, and we want every candidate to know exactly what genuine communication from us looks like.
How to recognise genuine Meera Consulting recruitment
Official channels only
Genuine communication from our team comes from @meeraconsulting.com email addresses or the phone numbers published on this website. Messages from personal Gmail/Yahoo-style accounts claiming to represent us are not from us.
No fees — ever
Meera Consulting never asks candidates for money at any stage: no application fees, interview charges, offer-processing fees, training deposits, or "refundable" security amounts. Any such request is fraudulent.
Formal offer letters
Offers are issued as formal documentation after a completed interview process — never over chat apps alone, and never conditional on a payment.
Structured interviews
Our process involves real conversations with our team — typically screening plus role and HR rounds. We never extend offers based solely on an instant-messaging chat.

- Request payment, deposits, or "processing charges" from candidates
- Ask for your bank account, card details, or OTPs during recruitment
- Make job offers through social media DMs or chat apps without a formal process
- Ask you to purchase equipment or software as a condition of joining
- Guarantee a job, visa, or placement in exchange for money
We take recruitment fraud seriously. Anyone attempting to obtain money or personal information using Meera Consulting's name will face strict action, and we work to keep our hiring process safe and transparent for every candidate.
What our real recruitment process looks like
We publish our process so you can measure any message you receive against it. If what is happening to you doesn’t look like this, it isn’t us.
You apply
Every genuine opening is listed on our own careers page and you apply through it yourself. We do not make offers to people who never applied — an unsolicited "offer" for a role you never applied to is the single most common shape of recruitment fraud.
We screen and call you
A member of our team contacts you from an @meeraconsulting.com address or a number published on this website. We will discuss your experience and the role. No money is involved at this stage or at any other.
You interview
Real conversations with our team and, where relevant, the employer — typically a screening round plus role and HR rounds. Offers are never made on the basis of a chat conversation alone.
You receive a formal offer
Successful candidates receive formal written documentation after the interview process completes. An offer is never conditional on you paying anything, and never arrives within minutes of first contact.
You join — free of charge
Our fees are paid by employers, never by candidates. From application to joining, the total amount you pay Meera Consulting is zero.
Our only genuine channels

A note on similar names. “Meera” is a common name, and several unrelated businesses operate under similar-sounding names in recruitment and consulting. Meera Consulting Ltd is not affiliated with them and cannot answer for them. We can only verify communication from the channels listed above — if you are unsure which company contacted you, ask for their registered name and domain and check it against ours.
Warning signs of a recruitment scam
Fraudulent offers tend to share a few tell-tale signs. Treat a message that shows any of the following as a red flag, and verify with us before you respond, share documents, or pay anything.
- An unsolicited offer for a role you never applied to, often with an unusually high salary.
- Pressure to act urgently, pay quickly, or keep the "offer" confidential.
- Messages from free email accounts (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) or numbers not listed on this website, while using our name or logo.
- Email domains that look almost right but are misspelt — for example "meera-consulting", or a ".net"/".org" ending instead of our genuine @meeraconsulting.com.
- Requests for money, deposits, bank details, card numbers, OTPs, or copies of your ID before any genuine interview.
- An offer letter full of spelling and grammar mistakes, or issued within minutes over a chat app.
