Job Description

We are looking for a committed and clinically competent Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our medical team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in patient care, emergency response, and clinical decision-making, with the ability to support multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

  • Provide continuous medical supervision to inpatients, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Attend to medical emergencies promptly and perform life-saving procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants, nursing staff, and paramedical teams to implement care plans and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient vitals, lab reports, and clinical progress; escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to documentation protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and clinical governance standards.
  • Assist in clinical audits, mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • MBBS (with valid medical registration).
  • Strong clinical acumen with hands-on experience in ward and emergency care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with patients, families, and the medical team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems and EMR tools is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.
